Hey gang,

I'm new to the Object Desktop scene, so I've been downloading all the goodies that I payed for... uhmmm.. well... Icon Packager refuses to work for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. Everything else for Object Desktop seems to be working fine except none of the icons will change over. I keep getting an error message with Icon Packager which states "There was an error downloading or applying the Icon Packager Theme. Theme Manager will continue applying the other elements of the suite."

Any ideas? I have Windows XP Pro if that helps any.

Thanks!

We recently had a server problem, and lost files. Theme Manager is probably trying to download an Iconpack that hasn't been restored yet. This is just an educated guess, as I don't use Theme Manager.

sometimes you might have to save the theme to a folder so you can unzip the actual theme into and then in IconPacker, install the theme. I ran into this with a few Icon themes and what it turned out to be was the theme was actually a zip file which IP was not able to open, but once it was decompressed double clicking on the *.ip installed and loaded the theme for instant use and or later use, once that is done you can delete the folder you created and uncompressed to...
